How many one in four women live in your city?
Jeannie Claire, author of the book, Another Search for Shelter (regarding transition from victim to survivor of domestic violence), writes a thought provoking letter to the editor on Rocklin & Roseville Today.

"Every seven seconds a woman is a victim of domestic violence, and one in four women are victims of domestic violence.How many one in four women live in your city? No city or community is immune to domestic violence and it is important not to remain silent if you know someone that needs help, or if you yourself need help. Think about it: The victim could go to your church, live in your neighborhood, be your family member or friend, or the victim could be YOU."
